Yoshi, The Kobold that could

Ah well, a tale to tell, Eh? Well well, I suppose I could tell you a few things about the little fur ball... Willing to pay a bit? Mm? Maybe a few spare bits of material you got? Oh, that'll do nicely... Mmhm. Guess I can reveal my tale a bit, then... But... I can't say I'll be speakin' in first person, sorry gents, but thats not the properly scribed story! No no! Proper third person, Thats what it'll be. No complaining, none at all... And keep your eyes on me (And definitely not on my sister as she knicks those pockets of yours), terribly rude to look away from a speaker! Ah, you too, you Elven piece O'- Shush, sis. I wasn't goin' to swear!

Anyway...

I happen to be a Winter Kobold, that I am. Nice white fur, slightly gray. Came from a long line of Jack O' trade people, and I am no less of one. Same goes for that dork of a sister of mine, who is probably off flirting with some other girl, the little tramp she is! ("HEY!") Eh heh heh... Going to lose a hella alota sleep over that, but oh well. Anywho, Little Yoshi N' Kessah grew up nicely, peacefuly... Land way up north from here, no where you know... Secret to you tall folk lot! Well, the Non-Winter Kobolds, that is, of course. Anywho, I got intrested in things... Science... Sneaking about... occasional merry tune and makin people laugh... Jumping about roofs, which is a real joy if ya do it right, you know, the whole board! Well well... Lil' Yoshi left his humble abode, the poor mate's sis came along too... Nagged him the whole way on! ("d**nIT YOSHI!") Heh heh heh... well, the little tramp kept yelling at the poor Kobold, she did, telling him to go back home, the world out there was to big for a little, and I quote, "Midget Kobold like me"! The nerve of that woman, speaking to her kind and orderly brother like that. Gonna have to send a letter to her girlfriend back home about all of this, Thought Yoshi, punish the girl nicely. See, she is silenced by the truth. Eh-heh-heh.... Anywho... Here I am, now... Now my poor lil' lass has a choice... She gets to go home... Or... Well, she can stay with me a bit, I suppose... Mm? Long choice... Oh, drat, look at that. Pretty little maid comin in, Go get 'ere... And look at all that drink she's got...!


With that the two kobolds left the tavern, grinning ear to ear as they compared the bags of currency they collected, Yoshi from tips and his sister from pick pocketing. Came out pretty even this time.

Awesome! xD You do so much defineing the character of Yoshi here whilst telling us about his background. Very entertaining read - one of those kinds of things where it's so cohesive you can kinda hear the character speaking in your head (ither that or I'm just insane)
